It’s tough at the top!

Congratulations to our Managing Director, Robert James, who was among 143 runners to complete the gruelling 2016 Butser Hill Challenge on 17 September. Founded in 1978 as one of the first major mass runs – and still rated one of the toughest – the Challenge has been around a lot longer than more well-known events like the London Marathon and the Great North Run.

The five-mile route goes to the summit of Butser Hill, which at 889 feet is the highest point on the South Downs and overlooks our home town of Petersfield. Robert and his fellow competitors ran in aid of Rosemary Foundation, a local charity providing a ‘hospice at home’ care service to residents of Petersfield and surrounding villages.
